Some details such as final elevations or boundary measurements are subject to change as the development concludes. Sections 4-11 offer flat building platforms (with geotech summaries available on request); other sections are sloping, with building style at each buyer’s discretion.

Zoning & covenants

Hastings District Council zoning of ‘Havelock North Character Residential’ matches our intent to deliver a high quality residential area. Additional but selective covenants and design guidelines (available on request) provide sensible parameters to protect the integrity and attributes of all sites as each new home is completed.

Buyers are free to use their own architects and builders at Burbury Lane. If you are from out of town we are happy to connect you with local experts.

Ongoing costs?

In a word, no. Unlike some developments, Burbury Lane will not require owners to make contributions towards a body corporate.

  • All sections will be freehold titles.
  • Road and reserve areas will be vested to Hastings District Council on completion of the development. (Burbury Lane will be a public road and not gated)
  • All typical services (including high-speed fibre) are provided to section boundaries.
  • A maintenance programme is in place for reserves and planted areas while the site becomes established. All sections will be maintained appropriately until new homes are built.
